Today is Day 22 of our Random Acts of Kindness Challenge.

Your Challenge today is:

Arrange a cup of tea or coffee with someone you know. Either delivery it to their home or meet up virtually.

What a great way to connect with family and friends, over a sip of coffee or tea but did you know that this gesture is also a great way to boost your own mood.

Are you or someone you know feeling sad or depressed without the connection of others?

Here are a couple ideas that might help boost your moods and at the same time, complete our Day 22 #TeamBushRandomActsofKindness2020 Challenge :

Find out what your family or friend’s favourite beverage is then stop at your local favourite coffee shop drive-thru. Order their favourite and delivery it to their home with a little note that says you are thinking about them. You could knock on their door or ring their bell, leave their surprise delivery on their stoop and get back in your vehicle. (Remember, follow COVID-19 protocols; wear your mask, social distance and wash or sanitize your hands.) You could also add to your note that you are only a phone call away if they want to chat!

Thanks to technology, we have the chance to stay connected with our loved ones ONLINE! Using Facetime, Zoom, Skype, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangouts or any other internet based video chat service, having a Virtual Sip and Share lets you stay connected with your loved ones around the word. Send out an invite with a date, time and what platform you want to meet up. Tell them to grab their favourite beverage and have a virtual get together.

During these uncertain times, most people will be thrilled to just stay connected while being a part. Which one of these would you choose or would like to try?

We want to hear about your experience with today’s challenge. Share on your Facebook page and include a photo so we can be inspired too! Make sure to include the hashtag #TeamBushRandomActsofKindness2020
