Today is Day 24 of our Random Acts of Kindness Challenge.
Your Challenge today is:
Leave a small gift on your neighbour’s porch or at their door. Include a card from their Secret Santa.
Can you believe it is Christmas Eve? We know this holiday is going to be a lot different but we have the opportunity to still make great memories and start new traditions. Your challenge today is to inspire you to play a game. You will put together small gifts, for example you could hand-make a gift, package up baked goodies from your Virtual Cookie night, or whatever you want then you will drop off each gift at the door of your neighbours. The number of neighbours is up to you.
We found this neat game on http://organizedchristmas.com called “You’ve Been Elf-ed” and we thought it would go perfectly with today’s challenge. They provide printable sheets that explain what the gift is all about and includes a sign they can pop into their window to alert any other -would-be “Elves” that you have already been Elf-ed. It will also challenge them to become Elves and Spread the Joy to other neighbours that have not yet been Elf-ed. Of the rest of the Holiday season, you will start to see the Holiday Cheer being spread through-out your neighbourhood. With your gifts ready to go, Elf signs printed out, grab your Santa or Elf Hats and head out the door to leave your surprises at their doors. Ring the bell or knock on the door then RUN! (It is the most exciting part). This is a great to get your kids involved too.
